Cannot import the backup from one phone to another

Steps to reproduce the behaviour

1. Both devices using v2.5.3
2. On my old phone went to Backup preferences, Default Export Format: GnuCash XML, Export all transactions
3. Then clicked Create Backup
4. On new phone went through the setup wizard and selected to import my accounts, then selected the newly created file (which I've copied over to this device)
5. The app crashed with the toast notification An error occurred whilst importing the GnuCash accounts
6. Opening the app again doesn't show any accounts or transactions

Expected behaviour

It should import successfully

Actual behaviour

Import fails.

• GnuCash Android version: 2.5.3
• System Android version: 15
• Device type: Google Pixel 8
