I'm from a Polyglots Team in the WordPress community. Just wonder about the case when we need to approve strings, however, it does not match a standard and needs to replace with another string. However, when selecting or inputting a new string, it matched the current string and couldn't approve.
A better idea is to keep a revert button to help complete a workflow: before rejecting a user's translation, set revert to the user's translation.
