Possible to keep ActionSheet always open but still slide on/off screen?

I'd like to set up an Actionsheet that mounts with the app but is in the "closed" state hiding offscreen. Then it can be "opened and closed" but never really unmounts, it just animates on/off.

The reason is we have some queries that run on timers and we want them to remain running inside the Actionsheet.
Is this possible?
