Hi!

I have installed your P7Zip - Desktop ver. 16.02.2 from the standard
Ubuntu repository. I launched it and tried browsing directories. But
when I came to /mnt/ it couldn't see the disks that are mounted there...
So how do I get to all those files? (I tried 'Refresh' to no avail.)

Best regards,
Henrik

PS: I tried sending the above to your email address, but it doesn't seem to exist.

Same on manjaro using the 16.02.2 snap, neither running it as current user nor with root

This is a blocker for me, trying onlyto open an archive and just view the content on samba share and and mounted encrytped bitlocker device,
I can't believe this is a feature / restriction of snap.
See https://askubuntu.com/questions/1033344/how-to-give-snaps-access-to-somedir
Really frustrating not able to open any file where I have access to :-(

Access to /mnt can be allowed(iwhilelisted)
You may try
snap connect p7zip-desktop:removable-media
