Hello everyone,

I’ve made an important decision. I’m going to stop working on the picker in the future.

I won’t be accepting any new feature requests at this point. V6 will get any major bug fixes until the end of this year, and after that, I’ll only fix sponsored issues. If you find a bug, you can use Bounty Source, GitHub sponsors or Ko-Fi to support an issue. !Important! PLEASE communicate with me first, BEFORE, you sponsor a ticket. That will help ensure that I can work on it and I can estimate effort, etc.

I’ve improved the picker for years and added more and more features. I’ve tried to accommodate as many people as possible with option flags, but there’s always some edge case where Feature A is desired by Person Z but isn’t exactly how Person Y needed or causes a bug for them. My picker is probably the most powerful date picker out there, and it’s never enough.

When I came back with v6 I got a lot of support initially, but I’m back too little to no revenue from either donates, ads or affiliates.

Between my fluctuating health, the issues mentioned above, and that I’m simply tired of working on this project, I’m going to stop working on it.

I will still welcome PRs. It would be better to start a discussion around it first. If it's just a locale, I'd take it. If it's a new feature, then I'd want to vet the idea first.
