Dimming lights with E1810

[Byte-M3]

I have a tradfri 1810 and tradfri LED coupled to home assistant. The controller automation and lights hook are installed and partially working. I can switch the light on and off with the center button of the remote. However, I can not increase or decrease the brightness with the top and bottom button on the remote. The button presses are registered, this can be seen in the logbook. But the lights brightness does not change. What could be the issue?

I checked the trace, here also the button is detected, but there is no action taken afterwards:

Which functions are incorporated in the lights hook? In the lights hook you cannot define anything for those buttons. I did not define anything for those buttons in the controller blueprint. But I also did not for the center button, which is working. Any help would be highly appreciated! 👍
