Object Display Getting Stuck On When Using Pinned List Watch on Node #15119
Comments
Hello McGeeCarDesign, thank you for submitting this issue! We are super excited that you want to help us make Dynamo all that it can be. However, we need some more information in order for the Dynamo team to investigate any further. Can you please fill in the following to the best of your ability:
Additional information:

What did you do? -Pin a node's list view, selecting an item in the list, to highlight it blue and show its index number and location in the workspace. Then, click in the workspace to deselect everything, and the unpinned the list view. What did you expect to see? -I expect to see the item that was selected turn off when I unpin the list view, or click off the node. What did you see instead? -The indexing in the workspace still persists, and when the list is opened again, the item that was previously selected is still made blue. |
Issue Description
When using the pin button on a node's internal list output, and using that to select items to see their location, if you leave that item selected accidentally, then unpin the list view, the item gets stuck on. If you lose track of it, you have to hunt it down again, looking for the blue highlight in each node's list. PLEASE have all items automatically deselect in the viewport when you unpin or close lists. This is similar when using watch nodes, selecting an item in a list, and then clicking on the workspace doesn't deselect that list item, like it would for a node. So you get the number identifiers constantly stuck on in the workspace.
