Related to #10, but technically simpler to implement, as it would involve executing the content of dbupgrade, which shouldn't require special supervision once #62 is introduced.
However, I still think it needs to be a manual step to avoid issues (for example, by requiring to visit a different /upgrade.php page, which is then disabled/removed once successful.
