Destra Storage Node App

Prerequisites

Before you start, you will need:

  • Node.js 20+ and npm installed. You can download these from the Node.js official website.
  • A public IP address where your node will be accessible.
  • Sepolia JSON-RPC Endpoint (Recommended: Infura Sepolia RPC API).
  • Private key of a wallet with at least 0.2 Sepolia ETH.

Disclaimer

We do not have access to your private keys. They are only handled locally on your computer, ensuring your security and privacy.

System Requirements

  • Windows 10 or later
  • At least 8GB RAM
  • 16GB of free disk space

Windows Users

  1. Download destra-storage-node-win32-x64.zip.
  2. Extract the zip file to your preferred location.
  3. Open the extracted folder.
  4. Double-click destra-storage-node.exe to run the application.

macOS Users

  1. Download destra-storage-node-darwin-arm64-1.0.0.zip.
  2. Extract the zip file.
  3. Open the terminal, navigate to the extracted folder, and run this command: xattr -c Destra\ Storage\ Node.app.
  4. Open Destra Storage Node to run the application.

Note: On macOS, you might need to:

  1. Right-click the app.
  2. Choose "Open" from the context menu.
  3. Click "Open" in the security dialog (only for the first time).
  4. Optional: You can move the Destra Storage Node.app into your Applications folder.

General Notes

  • No installation is required.
  • Can be run from any location.
  • All dependencies are included in the package.
  • Save your configuration before closing the app.

If you encounter any issues:

  1. Make sure all fields are filled in correctly.
  2. Ensure the selected port is not in use.
  3. Check that your RPC endpoint is valid.
  4. Verify your private key is in the correct format.
