Hi everyone,
I wanted to address an issue I encountered while utilizing the @types/auth0-js module. Currently, the type definitions in @types/auth0-js do not align with the latest version of auth0-js, specifically in regard to the CrossOriginLoginOptions interface.
I'm currently working on enabling captcha functionality on a custom Auth0 login page, and after applying the necessary changes to include captcha in the login options, I encountered the following error during the build process:
Argument of type '{ realm: string; username: any; password: any; captcha: any; }' is not assignable to parameter of type 'CrossOriginLoginOptions'. Object literal may only specify known properties, and 'captcha' does not exist in type 'CrossOriginLoginOptions'.
Upon further investigation, I found that the @types/auth0-js module does not include the captcha parameter in the CrossOriginLoginOptions interface.
However, in the latest version of auth0-js, the CrossOriginLoginOptions interface does include the captcha parameter, which is used to pass the attempted solution for the captcha, if one was presented. Here's the relevant part of the auth0-js documentation.
I'm planning to issue a pull request to add the captcha parameter to the CrossOriginLoginOptions interface in @types/auth0-js. This will ensure that developers using TypeScript with Auth0 have access to the latest typings and can seamlessly integrate captcha functionality into their projects.
If anyone has any insights or suggestions regarding this issue, please feel free to share them. I'll keep you updated on the progress of the pull request.
Thank you for your attention to this matter.
