[@types/koa-router] is the sister package to [koa-router]. Or so its name would make you believe. However, [@types/koa-router] keeps being updated with new versions (last publish was 5 months ago). The thing is, the actual koa-router package has not seen any activity in 8 years https://github.com/ZijianHe/koa-router . [koa-router] in npm has become a copy of [@koa/router] https://www.npmjs.com/package/koa-router while [@types/koa-router] does not work as a perfect copy of [@types/koa__router], which is the actual types package for [@koa/router] and [koa-router]. I don't have a reproduction case, but I can tell you for sure that [@types/koa-router and @types/koa__router are not equivalent in april/2024. See this issue https://github.com//issues/46207 , that's still happening but does not happen with [@types/koa__router] , at least not for me. Altough I don't have a reproduction case, I know one of the causes of this issue is dependency resolution. It arises under some lockfiles but not others for [koa-router] v12. I really think [@types/koa-router] should just tell you to install [@types/koa__router] instead...
