Dave,

I think I've cracked it.
You can now specify HTML template and CSS style files.

It needs some more testing but it appears to be working.

Some questions though...
At the moment it holds the full path name. Is that the best option?
Should it assume that all the styles are in the plugin/defaults folder?
How do you want me to submit the changes?
