Dasharo version
v1.2.20

Question text
This is the result of a manual test, whose goal was to determine if it is possible to switch from PCEngines SeaBIOS firmware to Dasharo UEFI fw and use Ubuntu Server without needing to reinstall it.

Platform: APU 4A

Result: It does not seem possible to boot Ubuntu Server after updating PC Engines legacy firmware to Dasharo UEFI for APU4. When the installer is booted from BIOS it does not create the EFI partition and therefore the boot option does not appear in the firmware menu.

How to reproduce

  1. Boot the Ubuntu Server installer when using legacy SeaBIOS on APU4
  2. Install Ubuntu
  3. Boot DTS
  4. Update firmware (option 2)
  5. Enter setup and try to boot Ubuntu
