Hi All,
Do you know how we can use the audio limiter effect from Logic in fcpx with commandpost?
If you search on the limiter effect you get two options. One from final cut and the other from logic.
You can select and assign the logic limiter to a button in commandpost. But when you apply this button in fcpx the fcp limiter is always applied and not the logic limiter.
You can see that because the fcp limiter has only the brickwall profile while the logic filter can have a custom profile.
I’ve tried a lot of options but none seems to work. The only option that works is to assign the effect to ‘add default audio effect’.
But that one I need for another effect.
I hope someone can help me out on this one.
In worst case (if possible) I would even delete the fcp limiter effect and only keep the Logic limiter effect. Don’t know if it is possible?

At first I thought this sounded like a bug, but quickly looking at it, unfortunately it seems we're unable to get the Audio Category from the Accessibility API, so there's no way for us to work out which Limiter is which. I've probably sent feedback to Apple about this in the past, but I'll check again.
As a workaround, I would just create a "Effects Preset" with a different name.
