Google Nest Hub window doesn't scroll anymore after using bubble-card #913

Describe the bug
I have a verticale stack card with some buttons and bubble-card as first card. I use a tile card to navigate to the bubble-card. Everything works fine and I can use the pop-up as designed. But after I close the pop-up card I can not swipe my window on my Google Nest Hub anymore. Everything stills works on the screen but I have some buttons more below and not visible below of the screen. After closing the pop-up swipe the screen more up is not possible anymore.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Open the more buttons tile card
  2. Click one of my buttons to switch a light on
  3. Close the button and also the pop-up
  4. Now I can not scroll my window anymore

Expected behavior
I expected everything works as before I used the bubble pop-up card.

Hi! I've fixed something related to this issue, I'm not sure that this will fix this case, but wait for the next beta then tell me if it works after that 🤞

Hi, I have downloaded v2.3.0-beta 5. unfortunately the problem in my situation still excists. Now is the dashboard I stream complex but I don't know if that has any impact. On my MacBook the same Dashboard works fine, also after the use of Bubblecard pop-up.

Thank you for the feedback, can you tell me if your cards still works when you are unable to scroll? Just to be sure that this is not some kind of freeze.

I just tested. Every button or menu item works as designed. No freeze. Only no scrollable anymore directly after use of Bubblecard pop-up

Can you tell me if it was working before the v2.3.0 beta?

I was using it for the first time so I can't tell you. sorry. Must I try an earlier version?

You can do that if you want to help me understand what is happening here, the issue is that I don't have a Nest Hub to try it.

I am having same issue.

It also forces a vertical stack even though I selected masonry. Or is that expected? The popups are able to scroll though.

There hasn't been any activity on this issue recently. Due to the high number of incoming GitHub notifications, we have to clean some of the old issues, as many of them have already been resolved with the latest updates.
