Cant get the volume slider function to behave properly with a central menu

For reasons I do not understand, the slider widget from sliders.py is silently exiting the function that adds files in envcreator. Commenting out the slider part and just making the volume a constant value bypassed the issue, so Im going to go with that solution as a temporary fix for now.
