How can you change the User Agent #752

I am getting Mobile versions of sites, Netflix, Youtube and its related to the mobile user agent. Is it possible to change it? |

Thanks for your question, @reaperofpower If you're accessing from a mobile device, that's the expected behavior. BrowserBox will provide a mobile user agent so that your device viewport receives appropriately sized content. If you're accessing from a desktop browser you should be receiving Desktop form factor content. If you're not it could be because of this long held issue, which I've just converted from a task point as we've had multiple reports over time. I'm sorry about this! It should not be a difficult fix for us but we're super busy servicing existing client deployments and customizations right now, I'm afraid, so we don't have a plan on when we will get to it at the moment unfortunately. In the meantime, a workaround is simply to open a new tab from your Desktop and see if you get a Desktop form factor. If that does not solve the issue, the guaranteed workaround is simply to reset the browser ( You can think of it like BrowserBox remembers if it's ever been accessed by mobile then keeps everything mobile from that point forward. Hopefully this helps you out! 😄 |
