Hard to say without knowing more, but it's likely a permissions issue with Chrome. You could throw open the browser DevTools console to see what errors you're getting reported in the client. Alternately you could rebuild the Docker with DEBUG.val set to non-zero (in common.js) and connect to Docker and view the output to try to see what errors you're getting.
Yes I plan to do that. It's too large as is.
It could be down to cgroups/systemd killing the tab process because your resource limits are too tight. Especially heavy sites like youtube will spin up quite a bit of CPU particularly tab load.
VF Regular has limited options to improve the rendering, that's mostly a Pro feature but some things you can do are tune the image quality and time between shot settings inside zombie-lord/screenShot.js I will release a new docker image soon that may improve some of these.
