Potential extra options to enable when streaming a trajectory from disk:

  • Offset the start frame of the trajectory (currently locked to start frame 0)
  • Enable wrapping methods such as ping pong & wrap
  • Poentially different smoothing methods when lerping between defined frames
  • Option for subframes without interpolation (frames between snapshots)
  • Selection attributes that can update from frame to frame if based on distances etc u.select_atoms(updating = True)
  • option for computing bonds in MDAnlysis when importing
