Hi - I was using the server gui and in order to connect to my PS4 it would like me to activate using one of few authentication methods - I am curious how I would go about this as I have a 6.72 console that was never PSN activated and would at this time not be able to connect to PSN.

Can you get around this by some means in order to use this tool?

To my experience, authentication is only required to remote control.

For installation only you don't need it. Just uncheck "remote control".

Just use "PS4 Remote PKG Sender v2" as it works on every platform, has no dependencies like Java, and it's well supported and up to date.
