How to shrink the areas in the widget?

I would like to know how it would be possible to shrink the areas in the widget a little bit to fit it better to the screen of my used tablet?
For me it would be enough to reduce the space between the hourly forecast and the daily forecast for some milimeters (see picture)

Is this possible by changing some parameters?
