Hi all, I love playing around endlessly with FMG! But I was wondering if there are nifty tricks to increase the "probability" of certain "design goals" being met more often or more pronouncedly. I realize of course this is a fantasy map generator, not a terrain software, but I was just wondering if I can "nudge" it anyway and just might not know how to, hence my question. Constraints such as "one half tropical, the other half sub-tropical" with no taiga, temperate etc creeping in, for one. I might have other goals I'd also wanna nudge, but that's the major one. I could just overwrite the biomes with my choices of course but I just like how they seem to be generated with some fine physical/geological plausibility and not just entirely random, hence I'd rather nudge than arbitrarily manually brushing over it.. |

Hello. Biome is a function of temperature and moisture, so you can change the precipitation and world temperatures to get something closer to what you expect. |
