I don't know how to code an Obsidian integration but i encourage you to try and do the integration. |

I’ve put together a process to import large chunks of data from an FMG JSON file into Obsidian. It’s working well. I can import States, Provinces, Burgs, Cultures, and Religions. I’ve got a lot of cross linking and have built a library of several Helpers to pull in things like the URLs to Watabou’s City & Village gen among other things. @sofronaspe did you ever pursue your import goal? Would be curious to see what you may have created if you did anything. |

I'm doing the initial stages of research to create an integration between this tool and Obsidian. There already exists integrations for importing custom GIS map data so this one would be for integrating map notes with Obsidian markdown notes. Right now all map notes are stored in a json object, which means they can be bulk imported into Obsidian with existing integrations. However this is a one way process, and the markdown files would need to be reduced back into json and reuploaded manually. Hopefully an integration could automate this step of modifying map notes from outside the browser.
Has anyone else looked into a feature like this before?
