This means that hitting play inside the app should now be faster (whether you're playing something new, or just unpausing content). Please note that this doesn't address hitting play from Control Centre when the app has been killed. This is because the app itself has to be launched before it can process the play event. On an iPhone 5S the app takes approximately 0.8 seconds to launch. My next challenge will be to see if I can speed that up!
