After #716 brought publishing pages with v0.6.3 to AppFlowy, v0.7.1 has seen many improvements around the web app, including inviting people to web collaboration without using one of the apps.
While the published to web support is not yet perfectly fletched out for AppFlowy-Cloud neither AppFlowy-IO/AppFlowy-Cloud#680, we can already anticipate the need to allow self-hosters to use web collaboration.
Impact
The AppFlowy apps display hard-coded URLs to share and collaborate on the web. While it is possible with some effort to publish to a custom build of the AppFlowy web app, which points at one's self-hosted instance, including a need to manually edit publishing links and switching their domain, we see the same behaviour repeat with inviting to collaborate on the web.
Ideally, the web app becomes part of the cloud distribution and supports to dynamically render those URLs with the URL of a self-hosted AppFlowy server as base domain.
