It would be good to be able to toggle continuous playback directly from the queue. It could be a toggle button next to lock/unlock ok the top of the queue

I considered making the continuous playback setting accessible from the audio player.
Not sure having it in the queue is such a good idea - while it currently is indeed restricted to the queue, I think we will have continuous playback of feed items soon.

I mostly operate AntennaPod from the queue and switch and toggle continius playback all the time. I hardly ever use the player. Since I can control play/pause from the queue I would find it natural to be able go toggle contiuous playback from there also.

The same could be said about playback speed...
What is the motivation (use case) for toggling it all the time?

If I'm driving I set it on continuous so I do not have to operate the phone. If I am going to sleep or have a fixed time to spend I set it for one episode so I do not end up in the middle of the next in queue.

Your issue will also be fixed when #2146 gets implemented (Sleep Timer: Stop at end of track). I don't think we should add more and more settings everywhere. Users who are not tech-savvy tend to be confused by any additional menu item you add. In order to allow everyone to use AntennaPod (not just expert users), I don't want to clutter the interface even more.
