does the refresh token expire?

since the refresh token expires so often, do you know if there is a way to automate the setup in ADF so we don't have to do this manually all the time?

According to the Google documentation refresh tokens will not expire under normal usage scenarios. It's possible they can expire if the token is not used for six months. They can also "expire" if the user revokes the token or if the user has exceeded the maximum number of refresh tokens. In any of those cases, it doesn't seem like having an automated token refresh would help very much.
