Before opening the issue, have you...?

  • Searched for existing issues

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe

Recent issue #126 is quite inconvenient (and potentially impossible) to implement, but is really just a specific example of a more general issue: general control over SlimHUD positioning!

Describe the solution you'd like

A padding or spacing option would cover edge cases we can't reasonably catch with code.

Describe alternatives you've considered

An alternative (or additional) option would be to just make the whole SlimHUD doohicker draggable when it's visible via SlimHUD settings — you could adjust the positioning more directly than just changing a slider and seeing if it looks about right.

Anything else?

Totally arbitrary example of a case we couldn't possibly automatically detect: keeping SlimHUD on the bottom edge of the screen but moved up about 45 pixels so it doesn't cover... the Minecraft inventory bar! 🌻
