The lack of not being able to add quantities/amounts to items in my lists is the only thing holding me back from switching to this (better looking) app.
Describe the solution you'd like
Add a quantity/amount field for each item and have it right-aligned in the list view.
Make it a string, so people can add units themselves (pcs, kg/g, lb/oz, l/ml, gal/fl oz, whatever...).
Describe alternatives you've considered
Alternatively one could just add the quantity/amount to the item name, but not having it in a separate column feels too cluttered. Adding the quantity/amount at the beginning of the item ruins sorting.

Thanks for working on this neat app Albert, I've been watching it in fdroid since the end of last year, hoping you'd continue working on it 👍

Thanks for this modern and powerful app @Albert221 !
I'm switching from Shopping List as it has not been updated for 2 years.
I would be pleased that Fast shopping have the feature to set a quantity / amount too.
Maybe you can invest too the "Add new item window" : Shopping list have a faster bottom screen field. It's really convenient, and need definitely less clicks when you need to add many items at once, like when you list before going shopping ;-). There might be some other options, like a long click on the "+" button that open an "Add item window" which loop until you click on "Stop/No more item/End" button. But I'm not a developer and a UI designer, so... not a specialist ;-)
