Update the wiki for ANTsX on windows for new wsl2 with gui support #350
Comments
Thanks muratmaga, great news. Let's wait for it to pass the Windows Insider
stages before we add to the Wiki. I don't go into those beta releases
unless necessary, it has caused many headaches in the past.

I can confirm that gui support on new WSL2 works ok (in fact probably
better than solution that involved mobaxterm or other free x11 servers).
More detail is here:

This requires people to be on the development channel to get the latest
update. I am not sure what the timeline is for it to be integrated to
'normal' windows 10. But It is there and works:

Np. Understandable about the stability. I should comment the file system performance is less than stellar. But it works if you are desperate like me (entirely a windows shop environment). Would be great if Nvidia indeed shows a bit more interest and then hopefully all AntsrNet stuff would work too. |

There is supposedly GPU support as well (https://docs.nvidia.com/cuda/wsl-user-guide/index.html), but I don't have one of the gpus supported by this specific driver.
