Discord is nice of messaging but it is not good when you want to keep discussions for future reference, or when you want search engines to index the discussions so that new users would be able to find them.

Discourse is nice,

1. you write in markdown
2. it is indexed well by search engines
3. can use to maintain documentation. Users can comment in the thread and the OP can update accordingly.

The free option is quite fine. For projects like these, it is fine to be able to see the last 10k messages only.

I'm ok with any solution as log as I am allowed to configure bridge to Matrix, that I use. It is simple, but I need cooperation from channel admins. I miss this possibility much

And, yes, @figbux having gate to Matrix, we cat gate it to IRC afterwards, if there is no objections.

Maybe it's in 'out_dir/crash/default'
